at the setting of the daylight sun
it is the end of the sunlit night
the shadow crosses about the land
and gently brings to a start the darkened day
the sun is setting in the east
the moon arising in the west
the orange lit red and blue and gray
cast a very fine beautiful hue
the people running to their protective houses
calling their children before the sun leaves
the children are screaming
afraid of the darkened day
believe that God has put out the sun
blown it out like a candle near
to have dusk come at dawn is a frightening thing
